Mother Clucker Fried Chicken Festival – Atlanta 2017

Hey Atlanta Friends! We hope to see y’all at The Stave Room at American Spirit Works Sunday, April 30 from 2-5!

We’re bringing all our pickles to taste and purchase AND our new cheese spreads! If you haven’t had a chance to taste our Hot Mess cheese spread …made with aged white cheddar and our own pickled jalapeños… this is your chance!

And… we just got word we’ll be set up right next to our PHriend, Tiffany from Lazy Goat Produce! We love pairing her pepper jellies with our cheese spreads! 

Over 20 Atlanta area chefs will be frying Springer Mountain Farms Chicken in all kinds of yummy ways! We’re looking forward to tasting what D.B.A. Barbecue does with it. We hear they’re gonna smoke the chicken and then fry it…YUM! 


We got a little carried away while painting crates for our table display today and decided to paint one of our paper sacks!

We’re gonna use it at the festival to collect instagram names for a giveaway! So…be sure to stop by our tasting table & drop yours in the bag! 

Applause to Ron Eyester for bringing this tasty event back for the 3rd time! And if you think his name sounds familiar…you might remember his wit & talent from  Bravo channel’s Top Chef!

Pickled Green Tomato Season!

  
It’s pickled green tomato season here in Athens, GA and we are busy picking & pickling green cherry tomatoes from our organic garden! We pickle them whole …which makes them perfect in martinis or atop crudités with cheese. 

  
We make these in such tiny batches …that we limit purchases to one jar per shipment. $18 is the total …including the shipping costs.

Egg Salad with Phickles Pickled Carrots

6 Boiled Eggs
1/4 cup Dukes Mayonnaise
1 tsp Dijon Mustard
4 Phickles ‘Stix’ diced
Salt & Pepper to taste

Peel and chop boiled eggs. Add all the ingredients to the eggs in a bowl…mix and put between two pieces of white bread. Or…do like we did and eat the egg salad with a fork and wish for more for a sandwich!
